OEM ballasts (either Denso or Masushita) and better bulbs. You can upgrade the ballasts and bulbs on any of the kits but this one just comes standard. The bulbs are supposed to be crisper and hold their color longer (also brighter) and also warm up faster I believe. FWIW, Andrew told me if I wanted the best for either the D2S or FX-R, go with the Osram CBI bulbs.

I've decided I'm going H1 with the upgraded bulbs and the morimoto ballasts. Should be better and I've heard almost as good as the FX-R's.

I want one as well but need to fix my brakes first. Then see where I'm at, hopefully this GB will still be running by then.

Correct regarding CBIs. We love those bulbs. Feel free to google the rave reviews about them--it's nuts!

I need the D2S retrofit kit, minus the ballast / wire harness. Can i still participate? I am already running HID's in my reflector headlights.

Just a heads up: If you do want the CBIs or SVSs, we'll "flag" your order and you can call in to pay the balance since they're not covered under the discount. Hope you guys understand. Thanks! :)

Stay away from running 50W in the Morimoto Mini H1 and D2S. In the FXR, it is ok.

I have CBI bulbs on order and I'm excited to get them!
