    what headlights are those?

edit what housings did you use to do your retrofit? looks like you could have put another projector in there for a quad set-up. looks good man very unique :0

what kind of shrouds are offered with the 3"? I'm liking the 3", but between the shroud choice + extra weight of the lens + being pushed away from the connection point further, it seems like there would be more vibration issues and possible bezel fractures.

    lulz

after all the retro's i have done you would think i could tell the tacoma headlight but, alas i'm a tard

i thought he took one of those housings for the tacoma that have dual projectors and then retrofitted those. thats an idea i have kicked around myself.

most all of tr's shrouds are compatible with 3 inch lenses. jb weld the shroud on and the projector it self forgoing the lock nut method of mounting them for a rock solid mount that is completely adjustable when mounting.

plus it allows you to mount the projector farther back in the reflector bowl as well.

Yeah, the Mini H1's come with an H4 adapter plate as well and they have better output than the Mini D2S but you are limited on bulb options

Yeah, I just checked and it looks like the shroud centric rings wont work on the 3" so the shroud will have to be epoxied to the projector. I used nuts and bolts on the Mini H1's I put in my 4runner as well as the lock ring to keep them from moving I will probably do that with these as well, but epoxying them in as you would with a factory projector is another option. These 3" lenses should look good in the Tacoma headlight with its large reflector bowl

agreed 3 inch lenses look nice on the taco. the largest diameter base for a shroud trs sells is the new mcr shroud i'm running it fills the bowl nicely and looks bad ass.

the apoxy method is the best dude no nuts or bolt to come lose and it allows you to mount the projector like an inch or two further back in the housing it looks nice and also the dimensions of aiming them become perfect instead of being limited by the rigid screws and lock nut method

Yeah, i might try it on the tacoma, although if I am going to do that I should have just gone with FX-r's and I would be worried about screwing it up and not getting the cutoff level.

I couldn't set the ones in my 4runner back any further unless I was going to trim the shroud since the reflector bowl is a lot smaller

The pictures are still in my camera. It was a retro quick kit sp in reality the lights look exactly the same. I didn't do any painting or removing the orange reflector. (Snky snky).
If I download the pics someday soon I'll post them so you can atleast see the difference after I did the headlight restoration project (they looked beat before)
