I sent this to my friend who has the same car I do. I'm sure he'd be iffy on doing the work himself but we could do it together (his first incase we mess it up!)

With an 06 it seems like I should order the additional butyl sealant tape thing too right? I don't want to do this job more than once.

I am 99% sure I will order, but it has to wait until next week when I will have enough money in the "wifey isn't aware of this fund"

1. I assume 2012 is H4 wire harness right? I cant imagine they would change it from 11 to 12

2. What color is the new Philips 85122+ ?

Once I am able to confirm on all of this I will order everything...

This is exactly what I didn't want to happen. If you want in, just order. Im not keeping an up to the minute order status so by the time I hear that there are 18 orders in the group buy might be over.

There are a bunch of guys that ordered right when the code was posted. If we have a bunch of people waiting till there are 18 people on the list we will never reach our goal and those guys that placed their orders will be waiting forever.

I don't want to keep those that have ordered waiting, so if you want in, just place your order. Im confident that we will get to 25 in no time. We have a few orders coming in every day and Matt expects that they will be shipping by weeks end or the beginning of next week.

I'm not sure about the wiring harness but the Phillips 85122+ bulbs are a 4300k bulb. They are a oem whiteish color and the out put is amazing. I have been running them for about 8 months and love them.

 

I assumed the lights would be the same as the 11, so i ordered them that way, I cant see Toyota switching out the light bulbs too! Even if they did, i can just exchange for the correct ones I guess

I went with the 5k color with matching fogs...

 

this sucks...i got a set of OEM lights for cheap but i dont think i can swing the remaining $200+ for the retro kit! FML!

hopefully it'll come around again in the future...or a miracle happens
