Still doing research on what to get though. So far I am looking at the Morimoto Mini Stage III D2S set-up but can't decided on bulbs... It's between 4300K-5000K and 35W-50W. Still can't make my mind up on these.

Does anyone have any of these set-ups and have input, or better yet some pictures?

 

I'm going with 4300k because i read a few reviews saying that it doesn't have a noticeable "hot spot" like 5000k does

also i believe 4300k has more lumens than 5000k, by like 180 or 200?

i'm a noob on all of it, but i have a 200 lumen flashlight, and i'd love to have those extra lumens

 

I'm not going to search this forum again (it's hard with all of the HID questions to sift through everything) but from what I've read the Morimoto 4300k and 5000k bulbs are pretty close in color, almost hard to tell.

Thanks for that! I think I will be getting the Morimoto 5000K bulbs since I want a pure white out put. Can anyone compare the 35W with the 50W? I would really like to go with 50W but I don't want to melt anything and I don't want to blind oncoming traffic.

 

you wont melt anything.. if anything you will probably melt something with an aftermarkert halogen bulb before you melt something with a propper retrofit.

you will not blind oncoming traffic if you properly aim your retrofitted projectors... you will probably blind yourself sitting behind a white/light silver car ......i run 50w in my LS460 retrofit.

looking forward to tearing into a set of lights now to find a set for cheap

well i saw on their website that there was a code for free shipping so i was wondering if you can put that on top of it...
