    I never did see a answer, the resealing glue you guys offer. Is it for resealing the headlight or something else? Just trying to get everything I need in order.

    It's got resealing the headlights. You can buy it through TRS or get 3M WindowWeld at an auto parts store. It's a coiled ribbon and is basically the same stuff as OEM.

    Thanks guys. I had arthroscopic surgery to repair my left shoulder. I tore it in a motorcycle accident. This is my second operation on it because the first one was unsuccessful (needless to say I have a new surgeon this time). Made it a lot easier since I already knew what to expect. It is a fairly routine operation and a common sports injury, but DAM it sucks! Just ate for the first time in 36hours, been asleep for about 30 of those 36 hours, throwing up every single time I wake up, have to sleep sitting up, cant work for 3-6 months, and my pain medicine doesn't work if my life depended on it. Its not something I recommend if you can avoid it lol.

    The only good part about this is now I can be on TW all day everyday for atlaest a month and its ok because I cant do anything else anyways... Not sure if thats a good or bad thing now that I mention it :anonymous:

    Ok my pity-party rant is over now :rolleyes: time to go order me some lights! Placing order now :woot:

    EDIT: my face looks really really fat it that picture... its just swollen from the needle they shoved in my neck I swear :spy:

    Order placed! Too bad once these arrive, they are going to be $300 paper weights for a few months :( I cant install them with 1 arm, especially the FX-R's. And I cant justify paying for help when I know I can do it myself. This will suck :mad:

    I was debating too because of the cash situation. Ill be out of work for atleast 3 months so this was a stupid purchase for me, but I convinced myself it was a good idea because if you do the retro in a second set of headlights, then realize you need the money, you can sell the already retro fitted headlights and easily make a profit. This is a mod that appreciates in value, not depreciates... Atleast when its still fairly new and if it is done correctly. Same reason I opted for FX-R and not the mini's.

    The way I see it:

    FX-R 50w 5000k with Gatling shroud = $260 shipped
    New OEM headlights = $30 picked up (bought from other member)
    Misc Supplies = $10 (glue, paint, etc)

    TOTAL = $300

    Spend a few days doing the install correctly and I can easily sell the kit for $500+

    Easy money :D
