Rowher Flat OHV open!

Was goofing off at Rowher today and the ranger kicked me out due to pending rain.
Check before going out there.

Now they are saying they will open when they feel like it!

Good to know.

I was thinking about going on Friday or Saturday morning.

Lots of news in 2015 of people rolling, crashing, getting hurt or dying there. Rangers are getting more strict and closing more often.

If you want to go with me some time let me know.

 

Update!

Perfect day today sun is out so I decided to cruise up to check the gate and its locked still. I called the Ranger and they said it will be closed until all storms have passed and the trails have all dried out!

I personally don't get it, when the trails are wet its the best time to ride/wheel.

Drinkwater flats is also closed until further notice....

Stopped by the tree on the way back that looks like the virgin Mary. I prayed for dry trails.

Yea, I would love to wheel sometime. I will check in when it reopens.
