    Yea. Front diff caused a lot of issues. And the install kits leave out a vital part that diff shops just have but not normal people which are the washer plates to help line up the ring to set backlash. Had to order more separately.

    And I looked at the diff code and it's 3.58, so I was partially wrong.

    Not really, 4.56's are getting installed Monday... That should be enough to get it back in line.

    So 4.56 for a manual with 33s and 4.88 for an auto with 33s? Is that what people are recommending?

    And it's at the shop. :goingcrazy:

    The shop is a little behind but they told me about 3 days for rear ARB, nitro 4.56 and new wheel and axle bearings all around in addition to new seals everywhere.
    Also I have been having some clunking in the front drivetrain. It sounds like a CV is broken, but I know it isn't that because the day after I installed the new CV's the problem kept getting worse. I'm hoping it's a bad u joint and not the transfer case...

    Just payed the shop. I didn't have them change the front wheel bearings because they were still in good shape upon inspection...

    Rear: New brake shoes, new seals, all new bearings, gears, ARB locker,

    Front: new diff bearings, seals, gears...

    Think that's it, but looks like my transfer case needs help. It seems to be popping the chain. Too much :burnrubber: in 4wd maybe? :laughing:

    Good! It's soooo easy to drive now. But man the shop screwed up my brakes something horrible. I'm going back tomorrow.

    Went to drive it after picking up my fiance and the shop screwed up... :annoyed:

    Young's Gear install my Nitro 4.56 gears front and rear with my rear ARB airlocker. They also changed the rear wheel and axle bearings, threw on some new brake shoes, but the really messed up the brakes and when I picked the truck up yesterday the e-brake handle wasn't doing anything, even after I fully adjusted the adjuster nuts under the cab and it felt like they hadn't been bled properly. Not so happy with them since they took 4 extra work days and a weekend to do the job.

    Anyways, the gear ratio feels amazing! I'm so glad I went with the 4.56's for my current 33's. I might have to ditch my winter 31's now...

    I think my transfer case is popping the chain over some gears, so I called Tom at GTF and they have a couple spares to swap out with mine. I'll try to do that sooned rather than later...

    Also need to hook up my ARB compressor and wire it up, hopefully I'll have some time after finals in a week or so.

    So the way I do math 43/12=3.583333333. So I was right.
