Well last night my GF's puppy Roxy got extremely sick, she started vomiting and never quit. We had to take her into the 24hr Emergency Clinic at midnight. We couldn't afford to leave her there so they checked her out and thought she had got into something she shouldn't have. So they gave her some fluids and we went back home. She quit her vomiting on the ride home but as soon as I parked she started again. She continued sporadic vomiting during the night.

I had to work today and left at 5 am and she had quit vomiting and was able to sleep.

At 3 my GF called and said she is taking Roxy back to the clinic and they're going to have to run Parvo tests. :(

I have grown very fond of Roxy and am expecting to see her grow old with my GF and I

She came through it all though and now she is better then ever. Just not the smartest dog around. My older one is named Roxy as well so prayers sent bro. Hope she will be okay.

    Ok guys a little update.

She visited the clinic yesterday and received more IV's and a few more shots. My GF decline the parvo test and xray because they were just to much money at the clinic. She plan to take her to a regular Vet today for the test.

    But.

Yesterday afternoon she started feeling much better. She was able to drink a little and kept it down. She started playing with her chew toys again and her tail wagging.

After another nap she felt even better, I took out side for her to take care of business and she started barking at the neighbor and was running around the yard. But she still wouldn't eat.

At 1 am she got up again and was hungry and had a little hot dog and some water, Then it was back to bed.

At 5 am she was really feeling good full of loves and energy. If she continues to feel better I don't think she needs any more tests.

    _________

We think she got sick from a allergic reaction to her puppy shots she got on Sat. morning and they have 48 hr period for a reaction.

    Thank you to everyone again!!!
