    Oil darkens from heat not dirt.

    For everyone else stumbling on this thread. If you want to know the difference in oils, look at their certifications.

    Or they have had real world use with it for many many years. I haven't seen one person on here say great things about Amsoil and also have any reference to being a dealer in their sig or tell anyone that. Not saying it doesn't exist, just I have yet to see it. No experience with RP, but have used Amsoil lubricants and filters for the farm and personal use for over 35 years and they have been amazing. Oh yeah, I don't sell the stuff either.:D

    I think Amsoil is a waste of money, but it usually performs the best out of all of the oils on any of the Project Farm videos. I personally use Kirkland/Costco (Warren) oils in my truck and they do just fine.
