    Anyone here shoot rp-342 rust preventive under there tacoma ? Any review ?

    if the truck already had a rustproofing appication, ca i shoot the rp-342 over ? Its really hard to remove it from every corner under.

    I think if the frame already shows signs of rust, Fluid Film or Woolwax is your best choice. I've used Eastwood's rust preventive which is a cosmoline product, Fluid Film, and Woolwax. I think if rust hasn't started the cosmoline products are fine, they don't dry hard so they won't crack and collect moisture, plus they creep into crevices. If you're dealing with rust already I think your best option is Woolwax or Fluid Film.
    I have both Woolwax and Fluid Film in the box section of my Tacomas' frame and during a stretch of 95* plus temperatures, they seeped to the lowest part of the frame and out onto the garage floor or where ever I was parked. At least I know all inside mating surfaces should be covered. Before winter sets in I plan on adding more Woolwax to both the front box sections.
    Our HHR has had Eastwoods cosmoline products on it almost since new and for a '07 it looks in pretty good shape for a Minnesota car. Knock on wood.
