    Hey tacomaworld.

Threw on my brand new RPT1's today and noticed the fronts were a little weird with the dust shield. I did manage to get everything threaded and torqued down, and there looks to be a small gap I can see through and the wheel is seated on the rotor fine. Test drive no weird vibrations or sounds or anything like that.

Is everyone removing the dust shields to run these wheels or can the latest RPT1 be run with the dust shield on?

All good, pulled the wheels off and removed the dust shields. Wheel fits mucho better now. Hopefully this post is useful for someone in the future. If you're using stock hub bore RPT1's it's recommended to remove the dust cover for 4wd models!
