Don't run it all the time. Only use it off road. Running it on the street is
    1) not safe
    And
    2) waiting to break parts

Do not run it all the time. It's for getting unstuck man. Your rearend spins only one tire in 2 wheel drive(sends power to the tire with least resistance) at a time. The diff lock, locks your rearend so that both tires will spin simultaneously. Provides more traction for tough situations.

    BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!
Should only use it when doing off road stuff. Maybe hit it every now and again to make sure it still works but try not to do many turns on dry pavement with it on.

Yeah unless you do the grey wire mod. Then you can use it whenever you want.

Yeah I was looking into that. Have you done it? Is it that easy or do you need to know about wiring etc. I notice mine blinks diff lock light blinks in 2wd, 4hi but of course in 4low it burns off both back tires in the dirt & one front tire.

It's easy. The write up is good so pretty hard to mess up. I think it was one of the first mods I ever did to mine.
