    You guys...
    Babies have big heads and weak necks up until two years or so. They are more susceptible to whiplash. Do not take them on rough trails.

    We have dispersed camped frequently with our daughter, she is almost 3 now. Started when she was almost 1. Air way down, it will help tremendously. Also go slow, no need to be in a hurry and its easy to miss big potholes/ruts when going fast.

    She absolutely loves camping. Just avoid rock crawling and take it easy. No need to avoid camping!

    When my son was 8 months old we went off roading. Technical trails with big bumps. Just air down and go slow. If you're really concerned get a neck pillow. If you are/were local, i have an infant one you can have for free.
