Yes... compare the specs. As Ray said In previous post. It has a 1/4 mounting plate now... do you know what Mobtowns are? 3/16. I’m not saying these are as high of quality As mobtown because I have yet to get my set in and mobtown is one of the best products out there. But from the looks and specs I don’t think these will have any trouble holding the weight of the truck and being used for hard wheeling. From the pics of both RRW and mobtown they aren’t that far off. The only real difference is the spacing of the front support. And to address the cost, Maybe.... the other companies are just inflated a bit... I call BS for small profit margins. When you have a product with small margins you sell by high quantity. Sliders are not one of those products. I may Be way wrong but I don’t think they go though all the time is takes to make sliders, to just make a few dollars a set. Here are pics from Mobtowns webpage.

It’s on their website. Looks like around $800 normally. They got a sale on their bumpers right now too

That's interesting. These may be an option for me when they release any info about the DCLB version. I wonder if the one pictured is in progress, the welds around support attachments on the middle beam look incomplete, like they're tack welded (I think that's what its called, I'm not a welder), compared to the welds around the the other joints throughout the slider.

oh cool. I'm local to them, so I wonder how if I could save much on shipping by picking them up myself.

Also it bothers me that the rep hasn't bothered to comment or weigh in at all about any of this.

Currently shipping is free with the sale isn’t it? And an extra $25 off with the code so $575 get you some sliders shipped. They respond they’re just slow to do it. Probably busy lol

This is the kind of information I'm looking for confirmation on, along with details about timing and price of the DCLB version. I'm not in any rush to buy, so it's not really an issue right now, but it would be nice to hear from an official source.

Late post, I was in the first batch of orders and talked to RRW who gave me a deal on one of the satin black sliders that they already had on hand. I received a tracking invoice from pilot freight once they shipped, and would have gotten them about a week after that except it was delayed due to Florence. When I received, they looked great and were packaged in separate boxes which I liked to further reduce risk of scratches in shipment. The hardware that came with them was shipped out USPS separate, and was 3/8 x 1.5" grade 5. I upgraded to grade 8 with a mix of 5/16 up to 1/2". I also bought some beefy phosphate m10 grade 10 body bolt to replace the factory ones on the bottom of the rail on each side. That being said, with drilling the grade 5 stuff is probably adequate, it has about a +-8k lb shear strength... also I'm pretty sure our U-bolts on the rear axle are also only grade 5 for reference (or atleast the ones that come with lift kits like from OME are...)

The passengers side is a cinch, the driver side you have to remove some electrical boxes and work behind some brake lines. I recommend looking at some of the other threads on here for the SOS offroad bolt ons and others as these are very similar, but the general idea is to put as many bolts through it as possible. I will try and take some pictures for ya'll tonight. I haven't tried yet, but am confident I could lift from mine without issue. Also, I did NOT drill.

For anyone questioning the strength and integrity of these, I will lift from them and bang them on some stuff the very week I receive them.

So I've been assuming that these will work for the 2nd gen as well. Is that true? or are they not interchangeable between the gens?
