I am also curious as to where these are at. I ordered mine right about the same time.

I did email asking for an update earlier this week but never heard back from anyone.

I'm in the same boat. I've spoken with Ray and they are having production issues. I ordered mine back in November as well. I need mine ASAP, I have a Baja trip coming up in 2 weeks and I'm getting nervous that I won't have mine by then.

We're going to start welding the sliders next week and sending them into powder as we finish welding them. We're starting to do some of the production in house so we don't have to rely on the manufacturers anyone. I'll start sending out emails next week to let you guys know where your order stands in the queue.

So, for an AC, does that mean the double cab short bed sliders would fit?

Same frame (as I understand it) as well as the same wheel to wheel measurement.

Don't know about SB fit compared to AC. The LB isn't perfect for the AC, but they can fit with modification. I made four small cuts, slots, to allow clearance for the rear cab mount support (two cuts on each slider). Also, none of the RRW made bolt holes lined up with any on my frame. I drilled the sliders with new holes. I did have to drill four holes in the frame; three for the very bottom tabs and one at the rear just for my own peace of mind.
I installed the sliders by myself and this included putting them up against the frame to measure and mark and taking them down -repeatedly. Well at least 3 times. I wanted to get it right.
After cutting and drilling them I painted and corrosion protected any bare metal I exposed. I also have a heavy coat of my CP product sprayed on both the sliders and the truck frame prior to final mount. I feel very confidant that these will not be rusting anytime soon, even though they are bolt on. Except - the wee plate that RRW attached to show the initials "RRW" is already bleeding rust at those welds. Just saw it as I was heading to the airport and now will have to wait until my return on Tuesday, for me to address it.
All of the above was just to say it is easy to make them fit, even without help. And that that bolt-on does NOT have to mean there will be corrosion.
Useless without photos. I know, but no access to photos right now.

The fit will be off just a bit. Off in a favorable direction though, I think. I have not used sliders for their intended purpose before. I have not pivoted a truck on a bolder or stump and saved the pinch weld or body side. So, I can only imagine that "the more of the bottom of the truck protected - the better" is a true statement. These long-bed sliders on my AC Taco: fit right at the back side of the front mudflap to an inch INTO the rear wheel well. Therefor I have complete coverage from tire to tire without any gaps. I like that. I could do a CMC in front and not need to alter the slider. If I ever get access to a welding machine, I think I will cut away the one inch protrusion at the rear and cap it off (same as others do in a CMC).
Useless without photos. I know, but no access to photos right now.

Edit: I corrected my opening sentence. I hadn't read the question properly and missed "...short bed...".

If I read your post correctly, you installed double cab long bed sliders on your AC, correct? I guess since the website is unclear, you installed the 'long bed' sliders which I understand as being for double cab long beds, which does have a different frame than both the ACLB and DCSB, which share the same frame (as I understand it).

    Did I read that incorrectly?

You read it correctly. I installed their 'Long Bed' sliders on my ACLB frame. I did not (still do not) know that DCSB an ACLB share the same frame. If they are the same frame, then there is still the different cab mount locations (again, a guess on my part).
But, considering the way my sliders cover longer areas than other sliders I've seen mounted, I can confirm that even though I have a "long bed" truck, I do not have a long bed frame.
But I am happy having that extra coverage.

To the best of my knowledge, the ACLB & DCSB do share the same frame. The topic used to come up here regularly in threads related to sliders, ordering 3rd gen Tacomas new from the factory (build times related to changing over to the different frame), and what not.

Of course, this is only from online research here, and NOT first hand.

Now your thoughts about cab mount locations may have something to do with it also, I guess.

I do find it odd that most of the sliders I have shopped for are swappable between ACLB and DCSB (just trading lengths of cab space for bed space), with the DCLB being a different animal, yet with this brand.... there is no mention of AC at all, and they are sold by bed length.... which clearly doesn't 'jive', as your experience has shown with the ACLB. Of course, there is no ACSB.

Another good result (so far ???) is that the front of my longer sliders (remember I said they reach right up to the back of the mud flap) rest on the bottom of the frnt cab mount. Solid mount to be sure! No worries of bolt strength or frame flex (rolling direction) there.
