Yep, it's taking a looooooooong time with little to no communication... was told by Ray in the beginning of December that my order was in the "third batch" and that they'd be ready in three weeks. Still don't have them.

Jan7 - Post #596 status was shipping mid Feb with delays from manufacturer moving

Feb1 - Post #609 status was welding in a week, emails in a week and production starting in house

Feb9 - Emails went out

Mar11 - per @dunkshaw sliders came back from powder coating today

So.... It's moving along, just really, really slowly.

Ordered a set of the DC LB in black from their website on Feb 26th, the shipper messed up and I got one of them last week and the 2nd one is supposed to be delivered today. When I ordered there were two sets in stock according to the website. After the shipping issue, I contacted them through the forum and got a response later that day. After pricing out similar options from various vendors and all the shipping cost and added cost to have a set of sliders sent to a residence, not sure how RRW isn't losing money shipping these out. Mine were flown from LAX to Nashville, TN and then put on a truck and delivered to my house (well one so far, assuming the driver doesn't get stuck in the mud again for 3 hours and actually delivers today, will have the whole set.).

 

I bought mine on eBay, they said lead time of 45 days (business days). This was back in, maybe end of October. Given all the holidays it got here sometime in mid January if I’m not mistaken. So it takes a few months. Came with the stuff it’s suppose to. I’m waiting for warmer weather so I can drill some holes and apply rustoleum before putting them on. Something about working in sub freezing temps laying on the ground for over an hour just doesn’t do it for me lol. I’m happy with the quality and the powdercoat. Also doesn’t hurt to zip a hole through the frame— reguardless of what people say.

I got this email on feb 8th, nothing since.

Just wanted to give you an update that we are close to shipping out your order.
Our manufacturer is starting to weld the sliders We have about 40 sets that are going to be produced in this batch.

We're pushing to get 3-5 sets welded per day. As soon as they finish a few sets, I'm going to pick them up and drop them off at a local powder coating shop. This will help speed up the process to get the orders shipped out asap.

Powder coating lead time takes about a week. Since its very local, we will pick it up and ship them out as they finish getting powder coated.

Your order is #34 on the list to ship out! We deeply appreciate your patience and your support for our company. "

I sent an email to see if there were any updates yesterday, we'll see I guess

 

This is good news for those of us that have been waiting forever on product and/or updates. Thank you!

 

So in theory the first 3-5 orders "should" have been shipped and "should" be arriving this week.

This is what I got on 3/13/19.. Hopefully they will be here soon.. I bet they are stressed with all the emails and delay in building..

April doesn't exactly line up with "3-5 sets a day" plus a week for powder coating and shipping as soon as possible.

Sounds like more delays for sure.

Wish they would just be honest with what's going on... Oh and communicate, I've yet to get an updated order status... Although I'm pretty sure where we all are in the process now.

 

Yeah... so clear communication would be great.. Im ok waiting.. we still have three feet of snow on the ground.. so its not like ill be installing anytime soon..

 

No update as of now. Will post if anything changes.
