That sucks, for sure. But in this SCS thread (169 pages) the only mentions of wheel finish failing are from poor tire mounting/balancing or rock rash.

Probably because people are posting about their new wheel and tire setups. Not a lot of people in that thread still posting years after getting their new wheels.

All the people I know with scs wheels in mb winters have had no issues, but like I said most of us ceramic coat them. Though none of us are running ray 10s or br6s just f5 gen 5 and blaze 10s

Maybe. Or maybe MUCH more likely that if people have an issue they’ll post it, because it’s TW and people here like to b!tch about stuff. Or there would be a thread about SCS failures. Not a quiet group of people here. So like I said, that sucks for you. But it doesn’t appear to be a common issue.

I live in BC, my SCS Ray 10 wheels look great and I’ve got a few months of winter each year. I’ve had the wheels for 8 years

I guess that would negate the faux bead lock bolts from corroding.

I'm just saying i dont have personal experience with them. You try reaching out to scs? They are very good to deal with.

just to add the scs wheels. or atleast my new gen 5s have bead grip on both the inside and outside lips. i went with them because they offer -38 offset. are super lightweight. and well they just look amazing imo. especially in the polished finish. unfortunately have winter wheels on now so i have yet to install them.

What color you thinking. I could just get tires only and save $$$

+1 for gun metal or a daaaark bronze. Ssw has a bronze that would fit that very well

No experience with Method or RRW. I have had SCS Ray 10s on my truck for aprox. 7 years with no issues. Finish still looks good even after WI winters. They do have rock rashes. Some people don't like the fake beadlock. My bolt heads still look good. The lip can collect mud and affect the balance, easy fix just wipe the mud out. The lip is a good place to put the valve stem cap when airing up/down so it doesn't get lost. It also protects the valve stem, also is a good place to grab onto when removing tire.
SCS also sells blems for a slightly lower cost. I have one as a spare and I had to to look real hard to find the blem. Just realized that if going offroad stuff is going to get scratch up. The first scratch is hardest to deal with after that it's,
