I was thinking it looks like I welded it with my stick welder... which means 'It ain't pretty, but it'll hold.'

Looks like they took a grinder to the welds, and nicked up the face of the welded-in plate in the process.

They did mine a few weeks ago in anticipation of a lift that unfortunately hasn’t happened yet. Soon. Very soon.

Here's the bottom of mine... it's bad.. they took to much off looking at the other RSG Offroad CMC.

I think I'm going to have to bring this up to them.

Ya I would see if they could correct it somehow. The body mount is structural and while a CMC changes it, it should be done to keep its strength. Right now you have a weak point on the body mount.

Well that’s not looking too good is it boys?! You can bet your ass this will be discussed today with whoever installed it

I think what needs to happen now is our head fabricator Justin needs to step in and correct this. I’m truly sorry something like that left the Shop, I wish I could oversee every car that’s in / out but sometimes that’s not possible. Again, extremely sorry that turned out the way it did and were happy to correct it.

A bunch a cool stickers, a bada ass MetalMiller Tx Longhorns grill emblem painted Hemi Orange, JBA long tube headers with o2 sims, Diff breather mod, Red LED interior lights, Fancy head unit that plays ipod n movies, Also DIY install factory stuff like, factory cruise control, factory intermittent wipers, OME nitro struts with 886x springs and toy tec top plate, JBA high caster UCA's for better alignmnet and dey beefier too, Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs in da rear with the gear, U bolt flipper, Ivan Stewart TRD rims with 33" K Bro 2's, some bad ass weather tech floor liners so I don't muck up my interior, an ATO shackle flipper for mo travel in da rear wit the gear, also super shiny Fox 2.0 shocks back there too, all sorts of steal armor for bouncing off of the rocks like demello sliders, AP front skid, trans skid, n transfer skid, demello gas tank skid, and a tough as nails ARB bumper with warn 8k winch, I'm sure there's more
Not enough material removed. Plate should be much closer to the body bushing. This plate is on a 3rd gen. Guy got the plates from eBay, and were not a very good fit. Large gaps to fill, but still came out looking good. I tell everyone for 3rd gen Tacoma's to either get Relentless Fab plates of BAMF plates as they are both the best fit. Looking at RSG's plates, I don't think they remove enough material from the front of the mount, or the installer isn't cutting in the right spot.

    Agree with that.

The plate looks like it would almost rub worse. That will never clear 35s

Lol it’s really not that big of a deal. It certainly is structurally fine. Mine is a cut a ton and never even plated it back in. Zero issues.
