Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Good idea. I guess I'll be doing some research before getting the lights in, maybe not tonight? How long did it take you?

@digitaLbraVo It was quick to install them. Just make sure you have something to mount the canbus. I have left over 3m velcro if you want some.

I spent about an hour getting the lights in and aligning them. Once that was done, the dust boots took about 20-30 minutes, although I waited until morning to do the dust boots. Another thing I forgot to mention was that I had to unbolt the washer fluid reservoir to access the passenger side bulb. I didn't remove the reservoir. Just unbolted it to wiggle it around while I R&R the bulb. It's only two bolts anyways. I have a smaller than stock battery that allowed me enough room to get the driver side bulb in. I probably would have had to remove the OEM battery, or at least shift it enough to get the bulb in.

When adjusting the headlight, I used my 8mm ratcheting wrench. I tried a normal socket wrench, but there's just not a whole lot of room.

Interesting (bear in mind I haven't taken a look at all yet) the dust boot can go on after everything else is in place?

I have double sided velcro tape and many zip ties in my work bag, thanks though!

Yeah. When you install the dust boot, slip the wire from the LED through the hole first. Then stretch the boot over the end of the bulb. If you connected the wire to test, make sure you disconnect it and then slip the wire through the dust boot.

I didn't pay attention to the position of the LED. Just rotate the end of the bulb until it gives you the least amount of glare/ best cutoff line. It most likely will be set to the best already though. The one I had to rotate was the one I messed with prior to installing it.

I'll have to try that. Up and down is definitely not right for the 12-15 second gen. I was lighting up the tops of trees. Left and right was better. Low beams with fog light are very bright, but no one flashing me so far. I'm getting a weird halo effect on the outside edges when my high beams are on. Need to tweak it more this week.

image.jpg I installed the fogs today. Drivers side is the new one and passenger side is stock. The picture doesn't really do it justice how bright it is.

Thanks for the awesome write up!!, looks like the cut off is actually really good for the 2nd gen too. When I installed them on a Co-workers Tundra I had to adjust them down quite a bit too but after I did they were great on his truck too.

No problem ;). I've been doing reviews and write-ups for over a decade. haha. This one was short and sweet. I was worried that the throw wouldn't be any better than stock, but it is. You can see details in my neighbor's backyard in my 3rd pic. haha.

anybody notice the heat these things are throwing out through the back? I checked about an hour later of them being on and it looked like it warped my wiper reservoir directly behind the bulb on the passenger side. Hoping it doesn't melt through it. Aside from the heat, these things are super bright and look great.

I'm wondering if he has the ignitor box touching his reservoir. I don't recall the bulb's end getting very hot when I was playing with it.

Haven't had a chance to snap a picture yet. It could very well have been the box resting against the reservoir. I didn't mount them down with double sided tape yet. It was freely hanging. will keep an eye on it over the next few days. At first I had them facing up and down and as someone said earlier, I was lighting the tops of the trees. Readjusted and they are MUCH better now. These bulbs not only look great, but man these things are bright. Very happy with the purchase. Thanks again @LovelandTaco for getting them out to me super quick.

I'll be installing my h10 fog lights tonight and was wondering about diode orientation as well. Should they face left/ right or up/ down? I did a quick test fit on one last night and they were at like a 45 deg angle just like the halogens that are in it now. Also I got an h4 for my motorcycle an was wondering the same, but I am pretty sure the 2 little metal cups, by 1 of the 2 diodes, on each side face upward?
