Installed today at Trailtec4x4 here in Ashland VA

A little bit of a pain to assemble but quality seems really good

They sure look stylish and very well designed. One topper at the "top" of my list of considerations!!
    It looks great!!

The only negatives I see (Correct me if I'm wrong), is the lack of drop-down of the front window for cleaning rear cab glass, and the potential for condensation.
Do you (or anyone for that matter) know if an insulation package is an option?

Not sure I’ve ever seen a drop down front window in a shell. But I’m sure a gas station window cleaning squeegee would fit in there if needed.

as to condensation.... there is a roof vent and side windows to allow for breathing so shouldn’t be a problem. thinking you could insulated yourself with any manner of options. Similar to any other camper or van.

I have been trying to decide between this and a Alu-Cab canopy. I am in the RVA area with a 2019 DCLB TRD OR in Cement Gray and would be interested in seeing this in person to help make my decision if you would allow me to take a look.

I would sure like to have a high resolution, left side photo in the sun, so I can use it as a mock-up on my truck. I'll show you when I'm finished!!

Definitely a cool cover. Wasn’t a huge fan of the glass. I ended up going with an RLD design cover. I liked that it had a higher dynamic load rating. My RTT is stupid heavy. And with the awning I want I’d be getting dangerously close to that dynamic rating for the RSI.

I’d be more concerned with the bedsides failing than this RSI cap

Haha, that time of year, huh?
From the sounds of it, I may have one on the way before that happens.

Hey @Cementpva Still liking it? Anything you wished you'd known before you bought it? Just picked up -- no pun intended -- a DCLB and really considering this for my topper. Couple things I'm not digging is not being able to open the latches from the inside (though I read they're making new latches that should solve this problem later this year) and how small the windows look on a long bed, are they as small as they look in the pics? Wished they widened them proportionally

So far I like it a lot. Technically you can open the hatches from inside by opening the side window and reaching out but of course thats not convenient. I’ve slept in mine and just pulled the hatch shut from inside and left the latches open.

only issue I’ve had is more about the taco bed. You have to seal up the area where the headboard of the bed meets the sides of the bed really well to keep water out.
That would be an issue on any cap on this bed.

I think the windows look fine proportion wise.

also I have not seen another one in my area yet so it’s good to be different

    Thanks for the details!

Just to clarify, do you mean the corners in the front of bed (towards the cab) ? Did you just use caulk to fix it?

Also, that's great to know you can still get out from the inside haha. But it sounds like you can only get out from the side windoors for now?

Thanks ahead for the additional info !

Yes I put silicone in the gaps of the bed.

if you open the side window you can still reach around to the back window latch from either side. If your arms are long enough
