RSI Smart cap and MTB tailgate pad compatability question

    Hello, wondering if anyone has had experience with the RSI smartcap and tailgate pads... is it possible to have the rear hatch closed and locked while a bike pad is on? My pad lives on my tailgate all biking season.

    ...Or, what are the steps involved to remove the back window if I did want to go that route?
