It worked better than the fiberglass I had on my F250 but I also sealed the bed at the rear. Dust intrusion will happen especially with the way tacoma beds are made.

Sorry guys on the road to smart cap this week.
All your caps should ship this week. I will have the sales team update each with tracking as they do. This shipment is huge and taking time to process.

Any updates on when @OffroadAlliance.com is going to be shipping out more orders? Ordered a 5' EVOa (3rd gen) back in November 2021.

That's because it's a short bed and in Texas (or because I bought the wrong truck aka long bed and in a commie western state).

Only issue so far is that there is a 3/16" gap between the rear window panel and the tailgate. Emailed vendor, just waiting on a response.

Anyone else have this issue? I tried moving the cap back 1/2" at first, and then 1", but didn't make a difference.

I got my RSI Smartcap EVO Sport 2 weeks ago. I returned home today after a 9 day trip. I started in Illinois and made my first camp in western Kansas. I did some light off-roading there as well. I camped 3 nights in Colorado in different locations and started the Rimrocker Trail. Once I get to Moab I camped outside of Arches for a night and visited the park the next day.
I traveled to Salt Lake City and visited the Land Cruiser museum but stayed in a Airbnb do do some laundry and shower etc.
I rounded out the trip by going to Medicine Bow and spending a day running trails and camping another night before I visited my parents in St. Louis. After a 2 hour drive back into Illinois I’m home.
Tomorrow I start cleaning up the truck and getting ready to resume my normal schedule.
I camped in the bed of my truck and used an air mattress. Nothing fancy and I’ve already planned some upgrades for future trips. I had a blast and my new Smartcap definitely played a part in that.
After a couple of days on the interstate and on the trails there was some dust inside the bed. It rained 2 nights and some rain got in, but not much and I have a plan to fix this issue. The locks got dusty so I’m definitely going to look into getting the caps I have seen pictures of here in this thread.
Running through 2 different car washes during my trip. One no water got in and on one some water got in, but not much.
Oh and I drove all the way to the top of Pikes Peak when I was in Colorado Springs and no issues. Didn’t expect any but that far up I was curious. Did I mention I had a blast and I love my Smartcap.
