    pretty much everything
I used the RSI load bars to secure a Roofnest Falcon XL with no issues. I have since moved on to using the Alu-Cab load bars with their low profile feet to get the tent mounted as low as possible. I do have the RSI load bars sitting around.

On the road I will check when I get back. With a three year warranty replacement parts won't be an issue for a while.

I'm more concerned about theft attempt (smashing a window to steal stuff inside) and vandalism.

I plan on just going to https://www.tnutz.com/ and getting my own parts for some bars, I want some low profile bars and the price is about $80 for all the parts.

I put a deposit down on an RSI Adventure here locally back in April and as of yesterday still waiting. I get it they are popular around here, no foul against the local business. However I just have to say I decided to call Mike’s Custom Toys yesterday and talked to Dan who was super helpful in 4 different interactions since then. And guess what? I already have a shipping notification for my RSI Adventure today. These guys are one state south so I don’t imagine it will be long til it is here.

I saved money ordering through them, even ordered latch caps after the fact, and without even asking them they refunded the shipping and added them to my RSI shipment. Stellar service from these guys, I will be returning as a customer. Highly recommend.

Thanks for the kind words. We try our best to deliver the highest level of customer service. Sometimes things are out of our control, with supply or shipping, or freight damage. I wish everyone was close enough to take advantage of the Free Installation, but that's not a reality. Just so happens we are currently stocked up on Adventure Caps at the moment.

I’m close to ordering this cap, but $250 for freight sounds tempting versus driving down there.

I wanted to give a quick update on this cap for those of you that are interested. I’ve owned this cap for 1.5 years so I thought I update you all.

To start off, this is a great cap! Aesthetic and functionality meets my expectations. The only improvements I would want to bring up are the existing seals. They somewhat deteriorate in the sun and end up leaving adhesive residue. The locks gets wet when it rains and slowly let the water inside. If it gets cold the water freeze up the locks. So far, I replaced and added these locks cover from RSI. I have not test them in the freezing temperature yet. Water seems to stay away from the locks, so that might help with the freezing portion of the locks. Water do leak in from the tailgate doors. But very minimal. Other than that this cap is solid. The load bars from RSI seems pretty solid with supporting my heavy ass tent 205lbs plus my 6.5’ awning.

Just wanted to add that i also order from Mike's Custom Toys and dealt with Mike. Awesome service and was able to answer all my questions. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again. I loved my smartcap and was super happy with it. I may end up with one on my new truck if I decide to get another canopy.

I would be super interested to see a closer pic of your awning and awning mounts with the windoor open. I have a 270 OVS I will be mounting with my iKamper up top so it will be similar. Do your doors hit the awning or brackets at all?

From my previous experience with my Roofnest Condor XL. The awning I had (Freespirit), I need to offset the tent all the way to the right to clear the 6.5’ awning when the tent open. For some reason the ROAM awning sits a lot lower than other awnings I’ve owned.
With my current setup, the doors are not hitting the bracketS. But it does hit the tent and the awning itself. The brackets I’m using goes into the CVT Tent channel so it will clear the doors. Your 270 awning need to have an extended brackets or some sort to bring it out further if you want to clear it. The awning might clear if you offset your tent to one side. Hope this helps.

I don't have the RTT but here's my OVS270 with the stock mounts. When the awning is opened I get a little bit more door clearance but not much. I can still access the side but it would be nice if the awning was about 1-2" higher. If your awning will attach to the base or side of your RTT you may get more clearance.

Figured I’d share what I’ve done so far under the RSI canopy… Earlier this summer, I built a drawer system with fridge slide to better organize the bed space. The big slide out drawer holds a stove, fuel, camping stuff, cooking stuff, showering stuff. The smaller cubby behind the fridge holds a water-tight dry goods bin.

I have a 13gallon water tank and pump hooked up to DC outlets I installed in the small cubby passenger side.

The RSI storage bin on the driver side has recovery equipment, wired up for on board air with a Viair compressor, tool box, etc.

I also re-purposed a Victory 4x4 molle panel behind the cab-facing window to hold a shovel, axe and other stuff. (Not in these photos)
