Like that the boards are utilizing unused space.

Kind of ridiculous that this company can’t figure out hinges over multiple years.

agreed! This on top of the numerous issues with my smart cap that have yet to be resolved, RSI has lost me at this point. It is a freakin latch, what could possibly be causing a years long delay.

Anyone with a short bed consider the GFC camper before ordering the RSI? Having a tough time making a decision.

Similar situation. I went with a Leer 100xr but after a few months of ownership, I've decided to order a Topo Topper. It would give us "garage" space to store things separate from where we "sleep" upstairs. Also, I plan to make a slide out tray for bikes so we can keep them "hidden", instead of a bike rack.

    Boils down to use-case

Thanks, primary use case is secure storage for seasonal gear, but plan would be to camp around 20 nights per year for trips. Ground tent camping is a challenge with a dog so upgrade is either topper or full camper.

Sounds like either option would work.

I think a RSI canopy would be maintenance free in the long run.

I went with a Topo Topper so that I didn't have to deal with buying a RTT that would overhang the canopy. Looks cleaner IMO

The streamlined look of the all in one campers look great. Looked at the Topo is a great option.

I wanted the GFC topper for a long time, I just can't wrap my head around the mark up for shipping, SUPER long wait time, and the cross-bars in the side windows. I'm going to buy me an RSI.

They even have a shipping charge if you get it installed in the company’s home location.

Do you have the short bed as well? I love the topper but wondering if I’m going to be losing something by going this route. I’m 5’11 and think I could sleep occasionally on diagonal but I’d need to ground camp with girlfriend and dog

I think it’s just installation fee but agree this should be included!

Yes, I'm running the short bed too. Wish I would have gotten the long bed. The only thing I think of losing is the ability to haul larger loads, but it should be relatively simple to pop on and off given the weight (<~200lbs/ <90kg). That was the goal though: find something that is light enough to pop off when needed and can secure the camping gear/whatever else I need in the interim.

Good to know and share similar hindsight on the long bed. Not sure how easy these are to lift off. Is your RSI the adventure series?
