RSI Smart Cap

That's the EVOc, as far as im aware it only comes in white at present

 

The Evo C is only available in white. The Evo Sport and Evo Adventure are only offered in black for the time being.

Evo C - Solid side panels, no front (cab facing) sliding window, white
Evo Sport - Full side windows with smaller sliding window, front sliding window, black
Evo Adventure - Solid side panels with interior molle panels, front sliding window, black

 

I'm supposed to have my RSI EVOa right now.... but looks like freight is having issues.

 

Mine delivered at the local shop today, I ordered through them since they offered free install. They are building it tomorrow and putting it on Friday morning.

For sure, I’ll take a bunch, even washed the truck yesterday in 35 degrees just for the cap.

Supposed to dump snow by Friday so we will see!

 

Hi All, so I just got my cap, put it together but waiting for a clear day to put it on.

I was also looking at putting a Roof top tent on but am concerned about overall weight siting on the bed frame. I know I’m not close to overall weight capacity for the bed, but am concerned about damaging the sides of the bed.

anyone know what the max weight is sitting on the bed frame?

I have no idea what the max weight limit is but that’s probably one of the last things of worry about... people have been stacking a ton of shit on the bed frames of these trucks and I’ve never read of a bed frame cracking... and I’ve read some weird shit on here.

 

I installed some quickfists in the holes in the ceiling to hold my job site broom and a shovel (or whatever I need).

What’s that bed divider? Looks like it fits in the side channels pretty good?

Yup, OEM. Stupid expensive for what it is but I like it.

 

It's nice but not $5,000 CAD to me. I am going to get a painted to match Bulldog CS for $1,900. USA built with tinted glass, headliner and LED brake light with lifetime warranty.

 

Post a pic for comparison when you get it! I’m in the same boat...I like the rsi buts its friggin expensive in Canada!

 

If you price out a new fiberglass model with the same options (three sliding windows and windoors) with tax and installation it comes out to roughly the same cost. Offroad Alliance didn’t charge me tax and I installed myself. Maybe with the exchange rate it’s different.

It’s a major plus that it can be purchased direct and delivered to your door w/ out having to price out a name brand fiberglass shell from various name manufactures. I guy from work got a long bed ARE color matched basic model for $1600 but had to call around to several locations to find a good price. And the prices varied wildly.

I would have ordered mine direct and installed myself if it wasn’t offered for free with the purchase through the local shop.

 

The RSI caps aren’t even remotely in the same category as anything fiberglass. The only other caps I’m aware of that would be comparable are the RLD Designs and AluCab.
