I do it too but I don’t call it over landing. I’ve been car camping since I was a kid.

Where can I get the side trim to protect the door from the rack?

I’d try Napa or Autozone… ask for fender trim. It usually comes in a roll of a couple feet that you can trim to length. Lotsa folks put it on when they have to cut / trim fenders for high clearance bumpers.

I did a super spring black for the time being. Issue with these caps are the dynamic load rating encourages you to add a bunch of weight, so you do it. The super springs did the trick, but I'm looking to some HD springs/leaf and some upgrade to the shocks to manage the added mass.

I have a dcsb with smartcap, 95qt dometic fridge, bamf HC dual swning out bumper, 35" spare, pro eagle jack, rotopax, tool crate, bed base platform, and GFC superlite tent. When all loaded up i'm probably pushing at least 900# in the rear.

That said, I'm currently running icon rxt stage 3 leaf packs. They aren't enough and I will be switching over to my buddies old leaf pack which is a deaver stage 3 that has been rearched and had an overload leaf installed. I'm hoping this does the trick and gets me a little rack back. I'm also going to be installing bamf hangers and shackles as well as shock relocation with 12" kings.

It's been a process...In the end i wish I would've just did the "buy once, cry once" but i've also realized that you're truely never done with the truck...lol

I’m waiting on Deaver U402 Stage 2’s which should work well for a while. If I need more down the road, I’ll switch to a Stage 3’s and sell the Stage 2’s. As the vehicle changes, the suspension must change a with it so just gotta do it.
