I think it looks great! of course I'm biased as I bought one and it's been sitting at the shop since Monday. I won't get to build and install it until tomorrow. I was hopeful that a rack with a lower profile than the RSI rack would work, they're supposed to be universal tracks, but from your pics I'm seeing the positive pressure air vent sits a bit high... hmmm. Thanks for posting!

That's a great point. There's so little info about what will work on these exactly and I don't want anything overly tall. I would personally really like a Front Runner rack but apparently the track-friendly hardware they make overseas isn't available in North America. I'm on a mission to bug the crap out of them until they bring it over.

I’m planning on modifying some (free) 3/8” strut nuts. I had an awning lined up for cheap from my GF’s brother but apparently he lost it. How in the heck do you lose a whole ARB awning?! :bananadead:

Yeah I bet for awning specifically that there are some pretty low tech ways to rig them up. But yes, the awning itself would help!

Well I'm sold, I'll be ordering mine tomorrow, only question left is finding a low profile rack for the top.

Beautiful bro!, this is got to be the best looking cap!, I mean it. Looks expedition/overland grade (we call them canopies up in Canada), also the strongest!, congratulations!!!

Normally i am not a fan of this style of Cap, prefer something that matches up more with the body lines of the truck, but i really dig this.

I think for those of us that don't like the look of a traditional cap, this one finally nailed the angles. I DO like RLD caps but it kind of looks like something a contractor would have.

I really think these give kind of an expedition look that doesn't try to look integrated, which I've never understood anyway.

Nice- bug them, then let us know. What was the source of that photo? It's hard to tell where the positive air vent is on that cap, though it looks like it might be under the 3rd bar from the back...
When I install today or tomorrow I'll take measurements - might even be able to borrow a friends Prinsu to see if it works

I've been bugging them directly! That photo was just from a Google search but here's the South African Front Runner offering.

Most people got used to the "traditional" cap look, but if you are into the rugged, solid, expedition, overland look i believe this is in a class by itself!, i don't have one myself but this is the one I will get for our Tacoma...once the wife is convinced :D:kona::jellydance:

Looks awesome I'm still waiting for mine to show up and now have a Wednesday delivery date and time set. Kinda lame as it was sitting in Seattle 25 miles away from me and now is coming from Bellingham which is near the Washington Canada border, but oh well

Does your D rubber gasket get caught in the tailgate at all when closed? Do you have any close ups of this?

@microsnook when yours showed up was it just 1 large box? Mine just arrived and I'm not home and my wife sent a picture of just 1 large box.

Let us know. Did they get away from the 2 boxes like in the video or did you only get half of your order like my Front Runner rack?
