Interesting cap..............are these aluminum to keep the weight down? I have an AluCab and like the OP have had many different options; aluminum truck cover with bars and RTT, AluCab and slept in the back, I had the Front Runner slim line rack on top for someone who posted that. These racks are IMO the best out there, I have had others as well on different vehicles over the years. Currently, I have removed everything and bought a soft tonneau cover. Back to basics. Really the reason for removing everything, is I am no longer living out West and not really doing any camping. The reasons for the AluCab in the first place.

Just looked at the site. I could not find a weight are they heavy? I saw they have great static and dynamic load weights but did not see where they listed the weight of the unit.

I'm funny about caps on a pickup.
I've never seen one I didn't hate, yet every time I see someone proudly displaying theirs and enjoying it for it's undeniable utility, I'm somehow jealous.
It's a catch 22 I'm never going to get past.

    Congrats OP. Seriously.
    Pretty pup, btw.

Pfa... is anyone considering putting insulation foam board on the roof of the rsi cap to make it little more insulated.

I have been thinking about it. I heard there was a spray but I have not researched enough. Would love to hear ideas.

Looks great! I have similar lights in my ARE Overland setup. I am curious if the latches on the windows are closed (not locked) from the outside, can you unlatch them from the inside?

So @PilotMM mentions in his build thread that he sprayed the interior of his RLD cap with Lizard Skin and it made a huge difference in temperature. I'd be curious if he'd weigh in on what he thinks about it having run it a while now. I wonder if it reduces or eliminates the magnetic aspect of the cap...

@Dguer006 do you have the switch in the bed? I’m wondering how hard it would be to run a switch to the cab.
