Ray and Dan got the panhard bar finished and the mounts installed while I was working on a customers truck. It was actually my old 02 Tacoma. He needed some new bearings in the lower portion of the coil overs.

Anyway, They did a great job.

Afew other things we've done to Rays truck.

We put in safety washers on the steering system to protect against complete joint failure. If a heim joint fails, the safety washers keep the steering system from falling apart.

Also got the rest of the F-911 bolts. This ten inch bolt is $50.00. Just for the bolt. But it's worth it.

We also got some Dana 60 to Toyota flanges instead of the strap style yokes. Hate those things. I've broken a 1310, 1350, and even a 1410 yoke. Swapped over to the Dana 60/Toyota unit and not one failure. Now, thats all I'll use.

Well, it's finally on all fours now. We got it sitting on all four tires last night at around seven. We were able to come up into the bed of the truck without having to come across with a brace and thats good. Not getting any deflection when all the weigth is on it.

Now it's down to drive shafts, which are at the shop right now, transmission cross member and skid plate, brake lines and hydro assist steering and it's ready to go. A little trimming here and there and it'll be on the trails.

40" Goodyear MTR's mounted on Allied Beadlocks.

This is how we welded the rear hoops to the frame. First we laid the hoop right against the frame and ran a bead along both sides of the hoop. (Welder was really acting up. We had to take apart the entire gun and pull all the guts out and put it back together to get it to run right. Once we did that it welded like a champ.)
Then after that we added a couple of supports and then boxed in the tube at the frame. Thats not going anywhere now.

Yeah, it should be one intimidating rig on the trails. :D This is the face Ray is going to have when he's behind the wheel.

Please believe me that while I was reading through this, I starting to count numbers in my head....what does a build like this run for the front only?
