RTT Bed rack with Jon Boat

Hi!
So I bought a 2016 TRD Tacoma a few months back and absolutely love it! My plan is to buy a bed rack and RTT very soon but I also want to take my 10ft Jon boat camping with us and have other items secure under a tonneau cover. I went to a new local shop that makes their own rack system and they told me to do some doodles of what I kinda want so their welder has an idea of what to build. I couldn’t find anything on google as far as a picture to give me ideas so I came on here to see if anyone has done this before? Thanks for any info!

 

sounds like you need a cab height bed rack..

 

Those are cool! I was thinking of kind of a double rack system so the tent is underneath the boat. I’m just not sure if the rack for the boat would hinder the opening of the tent

 

oh so you need the boat to be sticking out from the bed by 4 ft ?

Or maybe you can get some bed bars to mount the tent at the height of the bed, and then put the boat above or below?
