What’s up everybody! I’m wanting to go on a 3-4 month road trip and I can’t figure out a setup for my Tacoma.

Throwing a clam style hard shell RTT on my taco.

Alucab Canopy/GFC. type of set up and building out the bed with drawers/table etc/counter top.

Or a slide in pop up camper

I wanted to just get some general feedback and see if anyone has used one these set ups for an extended period of time? I’m trying to consider weigh and affordability in this.

A slide in camper will require more suspension mods to keep the truck sitting properly but will be a lot more comfortable for an extended period. That would be the route I’d take.
