RTT mounted, how to keep stuff dry in bed?

For those of you with an RTT mounted, how do you keep your gear in the bed dry? Obviously you could put a tarp over everything, but that's not ideal.

Imagine if you had a tonneau cover that was mounted upside down where the top of the cover slid under the bottom of the rails. It would attach to the bed rails, keep your stuff dry, and still leave the bed rails exposed for your crossbars and RTT. Now I have no idea if something like this would be feasible, I was just brainstorming. Does something like this exist? We get a lot of rain here in Oregon and I'm trying to find the most optimal setup. Ideas?

I have a bed rack for my RTT and a tonneau cover to keep stuff in the bed dry. Pics in my build thread.

^^ Damn. now I feel like an idiot. Figured the crossbars would create somewhat of a gap in between the cover, but looking at your build it doesn't look like much at all

Nice work on the fit man. I'm thinking about getting an extang trifecta and just cutting small divots in the 4 mounting points for the crossbars so that the cover mounts flat
