This is why you never buy a used RTT.

I had 2007 ford ranger and it was an amazing truck. Never let me down. I was looking forward to the new ranger, but when i saw it i said hell no. Also dont like engine and no MT offered. I think older fords were built much better too.

Yeah the Ranger was a total letdown. Still holding out hope that the Bronco isn't just a huge dumpster fire. I browse Craigslist almost everyday looking for an early 90's Ford to fix up. My dad had one when I was a kid and I loved it. Gotta bring the nostalgia back at some point.

just got a 2020 and im in the same spot man. got a tonneau cover and want to add a max mod 10 inch rack with a RTT. looking at 200-250 lbs constant load plus more with coolers and stuff.

I dont want to add any lift to the front yet either, let me know if you find a good solution. cheers

When I have my RTT and tons of camping gears loaded these keep her on an even keel.

You’ll be totally fine. Been doing it for 2 years. Tent/bars stay on almost all summer long.

It sags when fully loaded with all camp gear underneath, but not too bad without. Waiting til it’s paid off to lift it.

For what it’s worth, I also think it drives better with the extra weight of the tent in the back.

I think you will be fine. I had rear swinging HC bumper, tent, rack, and camp gear on stock leafs + AAL. A tent doesn’t really weigh that much.

Following the thread to see it’s doable. I was debating on upgrading suspension before getting the tent. I’ll hold off until the stock suspension is shot.

My thought is that you're fine. Bed rack and tent probably weigh about as much as a fiberglass shell. add gear and you might have some sag but nothing to crazy hopefully
