Finally getting around to upgrade my wheels/tires. 2006 dclb 4wd. Lookin' at Black Rhino Madness 17x9 wheels +12mm offset with Faulken Wildpeak A/T3W 265/70R17. Will they rub? I'm stock suspension right now. Looking at getting them from Carid.com and they won't guarantee the fit. Thanks for any info or directions to another thread!!

Thanks. I looked, searched, and looked more but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. I did find a few tire comparison tools that were helpful. So I took that information and measured off of my current setup. Looks like it will fit my truck but will be close in one area. Worst case is I have to add some thin spacers I think. I'm going to pull the trigger on them today probably!

One of the most asked questions is how big of a tire will fit.

I have been researching tires and wheels for my truck.
First find wheel and tire calculation charts and decide on size of rim
and size of tire you want to run. Don't over look backspacing
and offsets. Some say they use hub extenders to push tires outboard for
more clearance under the fender wheels. Keep in mind for every action,
    there is equally opposite reaction.
A great read yesterday was in the suspension threads.
You have to decide what the truck is going to be used for,
type of tire, etc. Most folks want a wider tire and taller tire.
You open a can of worms by things like tire rub, body mount rub,
fender well rub, etc. and then, consider lift, suspension mods ($) and what types, etc.
I have found out to do it right with larger tires, it's going to cost
quite a bit of money to do it right with out problems down the road.
Keep in mind 2" lift and lower is less money than say 3" lift, which starts
climbing in price and gets into more required modified specialty parts (upper control arms).
You will get a lot of forum members experiences and the great thing about this forum,
you can learn quite a bit from their experiences from trial and error.
Just read, research and learn from this forum.

Minor rub on mudflap when turning. Very minor trim to flaps and ok now.
17x9 Black Rhino. 265/70R17 Faulken Wildpeaks.

    dfire451 and BassAckwards like this.
