There may be a thread on this already but I couldn't find it.

There is a rubber door molding that has been on my pickup since I bought it, I haven't minded it until lately. The front 6 inches of it on the passenger side has fallen off and started to pull the rest of it off. I have been meaning to get some glue to re attach it. I was just curious if anyone has some other suggestions if i was to take it completely off the pickup. And replace it with some other molding or even some chrome Rocker panels.

My brother wants me to linex the rockers since my pickup is indigo blue it wouldn't stand out too much and it would protect against rocks and whatever else.

Are you referring to a rubber weather seal on the inside of the door or an outside rubber trim or molding? From the sound of it you are talking about an exterior rubber molding of some sort, probably put there to protect the door from dings from adjacent parked vehicles opening their doors.

Doesn't sound stock to me, so if you don't like it - remove it!
