Having rubber floor mats, do they cause moisture/wetness on the carpet? In my area, we have heavy rains and super high humidity also. I do not have any water coming from outside into my truck. When I have the mats removed, there is never any moisture of the floor under the mats

They do seem to keep the carpet from drying out once it gets soaked.

Because I am forever in the mud water and snow I just removed my mats and carpet .

It used to be the carpet was either soaked or frozen

I’m having the same issue. I thought I had a leak in the cowl or ac condenser leak or weatherstripping was bad but I think once the matting and carpet is wet it takes forever to dry especially in the tropics. I’m experimenting with pulling my passenger side up and placing 2 of those hanging disposable moisture absorbers and 1 cup style one. I’ll let you know how it goes.

You're planning on regularly replacing them?

Only happens to my front drivers mat. Last night I took the rubber mat out and it poured out last night. I go to the truck this morning and the carpet is dry. Only gets moist when I leave the rubber mat in
