The rubber wont breathe though like the carpet so if you get moisture under it like in that stuck, youll never get rid of the moisture unless you pull the rubber flooring, then you will need new floor pans. Brutal.
The lesson is never get stuck.

Those pics aren't of the same person. They were just the first pics that came up on google that showed what I meant. I have seen several pics of guys that have flooded out their rigs on here I just couldn't find them again... so I turned to google. haha

If you sink your tacoma and flood the interior with water, it doesn't matter what kind of flooring you have because it all needs to be pulled out immediately to prevent mold/mildew.

"All weather flooring" was designed to be easy to clean if it got dirty. It is not tsunami proof.

I don't care how much you try and seal holes, or the floor, it will never be completely water tight, and if you are an idiot you can still get water inside the cab.

The other misconception is the difference in noise level. There is none.

Line X the floor and run cable looming as best you can. Done, never have to take anything out again!

Get a 40" lift and you won't worry about getting water inside.

Who would do this to a newer truck? That is ridiculous.

I would pay money to see someone go through 4 feet of water thinking a line-x floor and cable looming will solve all of their problems

Yup and getting stuck in the water like the picture is just as ridiculous (for a new truck).
