This was a sad day. Was driving on Pacific Coast Highway and some lady in front of my buddy decided to slam on her brakes and make an illegal u-turn onto oncoming traffic. He rear ended her (not too bad) but I happened to be looking away for that brief moment, by the time I looked and reacted it was too late, locked up my brakes and rear ended him. Don't have any photos from the accident but her car had almost no damage, my buddies tacoma had to have the tailgate and rear bumper replaced everything else was good. I just shered my bumper off the bolts since it was a bolt on bumper, I think it saved my truck cause the bumper and grill and the fender were the only things that sustained damage. Made me realize these trucks are really solid.

After a couple of months of waiting for insurance and getting everything worked out I took it to SMP Fab to get it fixed up and threw some upgrades on while I was at it. The guys at SMP do phenomenal work and are really cool to deal with.
