rubbing my 33s!!

    So I have a 99 Tacoma standard cab with 33x12.5x15 tires. It has rancho adjustable coil overs but I still rub when cranking the wheel to turn and when I wheel a bit on the outer edges of the tire. I would like to get rid of this problem. What's the best and easiest cost efficient way to lift the front say 2" or so?

    Just barely rubs on my front bumper, outside edge of the tires I know for sure.

    LOL, I have an answer, don't run 12.50s on a Tacoma. What you are attempting to accomplish is virtually impossible.

    Just trim the lower corner of the plastic on the bumper. And if you rub on inner fender hammer in the pinch weld. And I'm running 33 12.5s after doing that I don't rub that bad anymore.

    For those suggesting he trim the bumper a little, won't that gap be gone when the front wheels articulate?

    You're going to have to trim the bumper or ad a body lift that will also lift the bumper.

    option 1: BFM beat the shit out of that corner (bumper) - won't look nice.
    option 2: saw off corner ( best option )
    option 3: add more lift - alignment problems.
    option 4: re-adjust alignment (caster) - drivability won't be the same

    Steel bumpers, but I guess I could maybe do that. I'm honestly not even sure what these Ranchos are exactly, set at, or how to adjust them, came with the truck.

    A 1" would probably even do it, but it'd be better with at least 2" I think. When I have a passenger it's even worse...

    Guess I should figure out first what my shocks are and already set to and how to adjust them to highest setting and see how that goes.

    My guess because these are Rancho they are not adjustable. Probably give you a full 3 inches lift. You might be better off with option 2.

    Does rancho not make an adjustable coil over shock then?? I think I may have got ripped off haha...let me take a picture of the shocks when I get home and maybe you can tell me if there adjustable version or not.

    I've seen those they are adjustable I thought it was 1"-2.5". I thought they were called quick lift or something like that. That being said I don't know what height you are at now with them. Based on your cv angle you have a little lift if you're on level ground
