    Hey all!

So I've got a 3" OME lift and have already gotten the CMC done. I've got new wheels ordered (17x9, -12 offset, 4.5" backspacing) and will be getting 285/70/17 Duratracs. I've been looking around the forums and have not really found a solid answer regarding possible rubbing as it seems some say there will be rubbing and some say there won't be. I'll likely have to trim some of the rear on the front fender, but in your experiences, have you had to trim/mod any other areas to make sure there is no rubbing? Ie: pinch weld, front plastic fender protectors, etc. Any advice would be good. Worst case scenario will be to just find out where the tires are rubbing when I get them on and go from there haha. Thanks in advance!

Your tires will clear, at least as far as your UCA's go. You may require some minor trimming but nothing that is noticeable or difficult. And that is dependent upon the type of tires you run, all tires are not the same. With your backspacing of your new rims you are pulling the rim out away from the upper control arm, giving yourself more space for tire. A 285 will clear on your 4.5" back spacing and -12 off set. Post a pic of the tires when you get them installed and show off that Tacoma.
