Rubbing when hard breaking

    When wheel shopping, I recommend buying wheels with the correct offset instead of adding spacers. Spacers add a possible "failure point." Most are probably strong enough, but you are pushing the wheels out further from the hub which places more stress on the connecting bolts.

    Just something to think about when you buy wheels...

    Yes more like emergency braking and I can’t figure out where it’s rubbing

    Can you tell which side it sounds like it comes from? Or is it both sides? The next logical place for rubbing is usually the mudflaps.

    or possibly you have worn suspension parts that’s letting it pull back and rub? Like control arm bushings

    Update:

    removed the front mud flaps and re torqued the new wheels(just because) and I’m not having the issue anymore. I don’t feel like it was the mud flaps but it’s all good now!
