Rubbing when it's not supposed to...

Need the board experts help please.

2007 Taco Prerunner SR5 V6 2wd long bed bone stock.

After advice from this board and speaking with the local truck lift'n place we purchased the following:

    - Readylift 2.75f/2r
    - Ultra Phantom 225s 17x8, 6x5.5, +10mm offset (4.875 backspacing)
    - BFG TA KO2s 275/70r17s

Per the truck lift'n place, the local tire store and the lift kit company there's absolutely no way this set up should rub as the lift states 33" tires should clear with not mods and the tires we got are 32".

The tires that aren't suppsed to rub are rubbing against the lower control arm. That said, it takes the steering wheel being turned almost completely before they touch but they are touching.

Based on these specs is it possible the Costco I used to purchase/install the tires could have done something wrong?

    Many thanks!

I don't know the first thing about 2wd 5 luggers or Readylift so tried to look up that lift just out of curiosity. All I see on their website is 2.75f/1.75r. No /2r. And they say the max tire diameter is 31".

    Uh-Oh!

consists of ReadyLift's Smart Strut Technology steel front strut spacers along with a rear lifting add-a-leaf which allows the owner to be able to install a larger 31-inch diameter tire.
