this may universal to all cars but when turning either direction and now when driving straight there seems to be a rubbing noise coming from the front tires. I have looked and nothing is rubbing that I can see. Can this issue be my brake pads needing changing?

Check your wheel bearings. Lift up the front end and shake the wheel side to side. If you have any play your wheel bearings could be shot. I would also check your pads and rotors.

Sound like your rubbing something plastic? It could be some of the bottom plastic on the bumper or inner fender is getting into it. You could’ve hit something small on the road that dislodged something plastic. Have someone stand outside while you drive slow and see if you can pinpoint the source.
