Rubbing with my current set up. Trimmed all the plastic, tires are definitely clearing the fender walls. Now (Im pretty sure) its rubbing the frame (Ill post a pic below of where I think its rubbing)

    current set up:

    + 2021 TRD OR DCLB
    + Bilstein 6112 set @ #6/#5
    + Bilstein 5160 in rear
+ IVD 3 leaf AAL pack
+ Black Rhino Rapids 17x8.5 0 offset wheels
    + Falken Wildpeak 265/70r17
    + Spidertrax 1.25" spacers

I was rubbing before I lifted the truck, after I lifted the truck, and after adding the spacers. The lifted definitely helped but it needed a decent amount of trimming of the fender walls. Now Its still rubbing at full articulation in reverse and when I start driving (both forward and reverse) from rest on an uneven surface. I dont feel any rub if I hit a bump while Im driving though.

Anyone have this problem with this tire size?

Wondering if the next step is to hammer back the pinch welds or add more offset.

This is the passenger side of the car (back of the wheel well). Same story for the drivers side.

I am stock with no lift and have mudflaps with that tire size and no rubbing. But I also have stock rims and tires

Idk whatever stock is. Thats prob why you're rubbing with your spacers and offset and diff rims.

    It's the wheels.

Wheels have more to do with tire fitment than any other single item.

Have you tried without the spacers? I would bet you don't get rubbing without the spacers with your zero offset wheels.

Agree. It's the spacers. Run it without them.

Stupid question, would pushing the wheels out further prevent the rubbing on the back of the frame?

I'm not the best with wheel/suspension stuff.

I'll probably end up taking the spacer off to test it and see how that helps anways.

What are your alignment specs? Stock UCAs?

Do you happen to have pics of the plastic trimming you had to do?

I have -25 offset 17x9 wheel w/ same tire as you and get a very small amount of rub on the plastic behind the tire and thats it. I have my 6112s on 3/4 settings.

Pushing the wheels out with spacers makes all rubbing worse, unless you are rubbing the Upper Control Arm.

did you upgrade the UCA? sounds like you need aftermarket UCA to increased the caster and push wheels away from the cab which will prevent rubbing

Someone here mention move the front tires forward…had my alignment shop..move 1/2 inch to front…so far it work! Note SPC upper control arms…alignment came out perfect…green bars..

As @not0ny said you need UCA’s and more positive caster.

Not sure if it helps but I have 265 70 16's on stock steel wheels. And have had no issues with rubbing, with blizzac's mounted. Not sure what is going on.

I thought 265/70’s clear stock…I’m guessing your spacers are hurting you
