I have stock UCAs and forgot to ask the mechanic for alignment specs when I dropped it off. Definitely gonna try without the spacers.

If that doesn’t work then it’s onto new UCAs and alignment.

kind of want to keep the spacers so I might try the UCAs/aligment first. Not sure…

If you look close at the original pic I posted, you can see where I trimmed it in the back of the wheel well. The picture below is the front of it. It’s not rubbing the plastic anymore though, just the inner corner of the frame and the backside of the wheel well.

    no alignment specs.

sorry for the shitty quality pics. My phone camera sucks ass.

I’m a little confused though… I’m not doubting what your saying, just wondering what the exact reason is. Since it’s rubbing the frame on the inner/back side of the wheel well, wouldn’t pushing the wheel out make it rub less? Or is this logic wrong.

Your wheels are wider than stock (which means the sidewalls stick out that much further), the 0 offset means they also stick out 25mm more than stock (which is about an inch right there), and you put 1.25” spacers on them. Add all those factors together and you’ve increased the turning arc of your tires by about 2.5”. That’s why you’re rubbing. Like others have said, lose the spacers - that’s the easiest thing you can do at this point to try to stop the rub.

Alright that makes sense. More offset = more turning arch = more rubbing. I appreciate the help.

Other then the rubbing OP how does it drive set at 6/5 without upper control arms? Have a pic of the whole truck?

Going to be getting ready to install my 6112’s and I’m unsure of the 5/4 or 6/5 setting with stock UCA’s

I think it rides fine and handles nicely too. Better then stock IMO. I was debating on which level to set it at for a while and said screw it and went to 5/6. Very happy I did. Perfect amount of lift for the truck and handles just fine.

i have a build thread with full pictures if you want too look. I apologize for the picture quality. Hopefully I’ll get better ones soon.

Mine rubs slightly in reverse when turning, same tires and size with a negative 10 offset.

Had rubbing issues, proper alignment fixed it. Same suspension setup, running 275/70r17 0 BFG KO2 SPC UCAs, Bilstein 6112 5/6, 5160 rear.

I have 265/70/17s with 0 offset wheels. I have the TRD lift and no rubbing anywhere. I had 1.25 Spidertrax with stock wheels also with no rubbing before the lift.
