    I don't think you will with that tire, but I could be mistaken about that.

    You will rub if at stock height. That tire is a 32 x 11.50. I have a 3" lift and get a slight rub when backing up while turning. If I was not lifted, the rub would be MUCH worse. The width of that size tire is going to cause the rubbing.

    Chris I have a question where are you getting the 32 from? Or are you rounding up? This is how I do it
    285x2= 570
    570x.60= 342
    342/25.4= 13.45
    13.46+18= 31.46
    Just asking.

    I do understand that this tire is slightly wider.

    I have some friends in the tire industry, and they told me that the tires are "rounded up", i.e. a 31.3" tire is considered a 32", A 30.4" is considered a 31", etc. Tire sizes vary widley from manufacture to manufacture, so one brands 285/60/18 may be 31.4" while another may be 31.7" Some are much larger than what they are listed as being. Goodyear MTR's are regularly larger than how they are sized. Also, as I showed PakerfanXD, tread width can vary as well, depending on sidwall profile. He has 285/75/16's while Im running 285/60/18's, yet my tread was almost a full inch wider from edge to edge.

    Ok, I was just wondering if you were using a different formula than I. Tire sizes remind me of shoes, a size 10.5 is not the same from manufacturer to manufacturer. Thanks Chris.

    To the OP I appologize for giving faulty info. I honestly thought that tire would have fit, even with the added width.

    I get a little rub on my front mud flap. No biggie, and I have just left it like that.

    I'd say use the Bilstien 5100's to lift it. For about $280.00 shipped, you get front and rear shocks, the front are adjustable to 4 different hieght settings.

    Why don't you just run 265's? Wouldn't that fix the issue of the rub?

    Isn't 265/60/18 the closest size increase equivalent to stock 265/70/16??

    Welcome to TW!

    You are correct. 265/60/18's are the closest to 265/70/16.

    I am running 265/65/18's with no issues on stock suspension. These are the same width and diameter as the popular 265/75/16's.
