Rubbing?

Hey guys, I’m trying to run some geolanders MT, with a -12 offset rims and a 3 inch lift kit. If I were to add a 1.25 spacer would it still rub?

Pushing your scrub radius out will make it worse for rubbing. Lift doesn’t have an effect on rubbing the wheel will still articulate up word.

 

Careful posting a thread with that title in the 3rd Gen forum - those guys will take it as an offer, and get pretty excited.

 

Tire size itself is 285/75/16

 

consider (the best ever) size - 255/85/16. 33+" Tall. Longest footprint (best traction over things like sand and whatnot). Probably no rubbing ever.

 

I ran that size before going 35”.

With stock upper control arms, 2.5” lift and -10 offset I had to trim a little of the front bumper. Only other place it rubbed was on the inner side of the frame at full lock off roading.

Every truck is different though
