headlight, was on gold... there is a tight lefthand turn on the second rocky part. i swung it a bit wide... figured the bush would give a little, just on the other side of the bush was a nasty stump...

rocker was on dishpan springs. i was going up the water fall and though to the left would be easier. thought the short wheelbase could manage the super tight 90... it didnt... i misjudged. in the trucks defense, if i had taken it a bit wider i would have cleared. i thought i was closer to the tree than i was lol.... also, in the trucks defense, if i 1. had a spotter i would have made it and 2. i was rushing myself because there was two yamaha rhino (sidexsides) right up my ass. should have paid more attention to what i was doing rather than worry about pissing them off... i had tons of people cheering my stock truck on after a few jeep guys said it couldnt be done im my truck...

Very cool project. I found when I did the TRAC mod, it moved lockers or LSD's way down the list, as ground clearance bcame a bigger issue than traction. Nice sliders, btw.

plan on a lockright in the rear... if the street manners suck ill wind up selling it and getting an ARB... but a little chirping around corners never hurt anyone lol

i would like an arb for the front and stronger cv's but its down the list

im not sorry... when people say ooo that sucks and i say yea, did that on dishpan and the look on the guys face "that made it on dishpan?" look makes it worth it

if i do it again i will go around the 90 again to conquer it... i did gold again a took the line slightly different and didnt get the headlight... i like to try again and succeed... :D

its nice because i live 2 miles from gold mt trail and its about 35-40 minutes to the entrance of deep creek... awesome wheeling up here...

Did tip top mt too, thats a great view of johnson valley... thought the stock dunflops would die on that trail... those rocks are crazy sharp!!! saw a side by side with a dead tire on that trail

You can do the rubicon the way it sits now!!! I have seen it done. 70% 20% 10% truck!!!

Plus all the hard parts have bypasses since every time a club Aka jeep jamboree, they make those possible

Dude I have been threw it like 30 times. Trust me!!!
I did the whole thing in my stock wrangler and 75% in two wheel drive

Times when I needed 4x4 was the gate keeper, rock pit, big and little slues oh and caddie hill

Remember it like it was yesterday!! First time 4wheeling and first time threw the rubicon

Prob busy, everyone wants to get on last run in before the snow comes and I know the pirates4x4 club takes a couple of weekends some time soon to do a clean up.

Closer you get to the end of summer the easier it get because all the clubs moving rocks around for the stockies to get threw!!
I know the jeep jamboree does alot of it!
Then the beginning of the summer it is the hardest because all the snow and weather. It is wet and slippery.

Point to add. I have not been in about four years soo I could have totally changed

If you want a real challenge go with the pirates and do a snow run
