I really want to be able to complete the entire Rubicon trail this summer, but as of right now i know it would be a struggle, but with this list of new parts that I will have by June do you think I can do it? All input is greatly appreciated.

    Front Plate Bumper
    Rear HC Plate Bumper
    Full belly skids
    Rear ARB locker
    35 BFG MTs

    I already have:
King coilovers and rear shocks, both with resi's
    OME dakar leaf springs
    4xinnovations sliders
    33 Nitto ATs

Sounds like you should be alright as long as you don't mind some breakage or body damage because it's very possible.

    same shit as everyone else
You know what I just read a magazine about how toyota did the whole trail with stock 2011 4runners just before they were released and they made it the whole way! Only a couple bent rocker panels and a trashed fuel tank... With that in mind a 3 inch lift would leave you with almost no damage. Let me do some searching and i'll show you that article I found!

yea, people over build a lot. It goes faster if you overbuild. But (and I've never seen the rubicon) there's usually a way up regardless of the popular way. You don't see people that rely on their vehicles for transporting them overland doing much modification.

I did the whole Rubicon in my 85 ext cab with 31's, Lockers are your best friend! I've seen stock trucks make it-with a little help ;) Just be prepared for some minor dents and dings. The really rough spots all have bypasses to avoid them, I hate to see people with capable rigs avoid them! With front/rear lockers and 33" tires, you'll crawl right through! The Rubicon is a formidable challenge, good luck!

P.S. lock the front too, it will help more than anything else.

Good luck, I am sure you will make it. Just take the correct path and go slow.

Nothing wrong with wheeling alone (1 vehicle). I done it plenty of times. Most recent was a 3 day 4x4 trip across the Mojave Road last month.
