Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Fortunately, if you really do want it under there you could probably mod and bend some things to make it work.

 

I have seen threads with the 255/85 tire being mounted there. I think it requires bracket smashing, host movement and exhaust cutting to make it work.

 

Haha yep. Right now my spare is chillin in the bed. Hoping to get a rear bumper with tire carrier in the next couple of months so it won't be living there forever.

I tried to get her to cut her exhaust when I helped install her suspension lift. That was a big no!

 

O.M.G. she should have been around when I did the snorkel cut then. Anti-climatic but it sure made an awful noise lol

 

She yelled at me when I chipped the paint on her rear shocks installing them! I don't think I'll be around for when/if she does any real cutting on the truck.

 

I can only imagine how she was when she scratched those Ray10s, I told her it would happen. I for sure want to be there when she has to cut into it.

 

Oh my goodness, ya'll need to stop hatin. Does anyone like when they get damages to brand new additions to their truck??? I don't think so!

I'm surprised that chipping the paint on OME rear shocks isn't part of the install instructions. Every single pair I've ever seen always has markings on the lower half showing they were beat into place.

 

Neither does building a truck but being afraid of scratches

 

Hey, I'm embracing all my scratches. I may cringe when it first happens but at least at the end of the day I can look back and say I use my truck the way it was made to be used.

 

I'm just picking! I just know that I prefer to look at my truck from a distance now hahaha. It makes me happy you use your truck (arguably more so than I have thus far).
